Skincare, Peels & Microdermabrasion

Microneedling

Micro-needling (Dermapen 3) is a minimally invasive procedure used to treat acne scars, pigmentation, fine lines, stretch marks, and wrinkles while improving skin tone. Micro-needling works by creating microscopic channels in the skin which stimulate new collagen formation. These channels also allow for better product penetration and absorption by the skin. Micro-needling usually involves a series of 3-5 treatments spaced 2 to 4 weeks apart.

Hydrafacial

The Hydrafacial is a patented treatment that combines exfoliation, painless extractions, hydration, and protection. This technology allows us to customize the treatment to suit your skin type while keeping it gentle enough for all skin types and ages. Best done on a regular basis, Hydrafacial is used to treat, restore, or maintain skin health. It can be used alone or in conjunction with other therapies.

Dermaplaning

A simple and safe procedure for exfoliating the epidermis and ridding the skin of fine vellus hair (peach fizz), Dermaplaning is a quick procedure with few to no adverse effects. Using a delicate touch and a scalpel, our professional esthetician simply abrades the surface of the skin using light feathering strokes. Removing vellus and epidermal skin allows products to penetrate more readily into the deeper layers of the skin and gives the patient a healthy glow. This treatment is excellent for rough, dry skin, superficial hyperpigmentation, mild acne scarring, or fine lines and wrinkles.

Customized Peels & Microdermabrasion

Chemical peels are defined as the application of a chemical agent to the skin to achieve exfoliation and collagen regeneration. There are many different types of chemical peels and at Forever Young Laser & Skin Center, we look at a multitude of factors such as skin type, ethnicity, lifestyle, condition being treated, and sensitivities to determine which chemical peel is appropriate for you. Then we will customize a treatment plan that is right for you.

Chemical peels can work for everyone, and the benefits include helping to prevent skin cancer by removing irradiated, sun-exposed skin. Peels can treat acne, sun-damage, brown spots, Rosacea, aging skin, fine lines, skin laxity, rough texture, and scars.

DERMASOUND PLUS™ (Ultrasonic) Facial

Dermasound Plus is a technology derived from ultrasonic science. The Dermasound Plus device uses low frequency ultrasonic (sound) waves to gently clean, exfoliate, and enhance the penetration of applied products. In addition, this device incorporates a second technology known as microcurrent that aids in the healing and calming of the skin. We use the Dermasound Plus in combination with enzymes, antioxidants, and growth factors to create a gentle, relaxing facial treatment which is perfect for Rosacea, pregnancy*, sensitive or extremely dehydrated skin. We employ a step-by-step process and the products we recommend in your customized skin care plan.

*Some of the steps we employ may be modified for pregnant patients, but the treatment changes will not alter effectiveness.

Intraceuticals Rejuvenate Treatment

Injectables

BOTOX® Cosmetic Injections

BOTOX® is the leading medical cosmetic procedure in the world and has the highest patient satisfaction rating of any med-aesthetic procedure. BOTOX® smooths and tightens areas on the forehead, the space between the eyes, and crow’s feet. It lends a youthful appearance to the face without changing the face’s basic features. The product breaks down slowly (approximately 3-6 months) in the body, and the area gradually regains mobility and function.

Dysport

For adults who are concerned about wrinkles and want a natural look, there’s Dysport, a prescription injection that helps smooth the appearance of moderate to severe frown lines between the eyebrows without changing the look or movement of the rest of your face.

JUVÉDERM®

Young, healthy-looking skin contains an abundance of the naturally hydrating substance, hyaluronic acid (HA). But as you age, sunlight and other factors deplete the amount of HA in your skin, causing your skin to lose structure and volume, creating unwanted facial wrinkles and folds.

The JUVÉDERM® Family is a group of soft gels formed from hyaluronic acid. Restylane® Family

The Restylane family are fillers made from hyaluronic acid (HA), a substance that occurs naturally in human tissue. They are used to correct facial wrinkles and folds such as the ones from your nose to the corners of your mouth.

Sculptra® Aesthetic

Sculptra Aesthetic is not a typical filler like Juvederm® or Restylane®. Rather it is known as a bio-stimulator, a product which when injected into the face will stimulate new collagen growth within your own body. The effects are dramatic and subtle at the same time because the effects are extremely widespread but so very natural looking. Sculptra® Aesthetic can be used over the entire face to restore receding temples, deflated cheeks, and changing chins.

KYBELLA®

KYBELLA is used in adults to improve the appearance and profile of moderate to severe fat below the chin (submental fat), also called “double chin.” KYBELLA aids in the breakdown and absorption of dietary fat, causing the destruction of fat cells. Once destroyed, these cells cannot store or accumulate fat.

Energy Based Treatments

Fraxel Dual

The Fraxel Dual is the Number1 treatment for sun damage as it treats fine lines, wrinkles, and pigment caused by sun exposure. It can also treat actinic keratoses, a more severe form of sun damage that can lead to skin cancer if left untreated. Fraxel is typically done as a series of 3 or more treatments done 2 to 4 weeks apart for best results. You can plan on significant improvement without the extended downtime seen with traditional laser resurfacing of the past.

Plasma Pen

Our Plasma Pen by Plasma Concepts is the world’s newest and most advanced, non-invasive, skin lifting, skin tightening, and rejuvenation device used to treat wrinkles, boost sagging skin, and brighten tone. Cutera's Laser Genesis

Probably the most versatile of our laser treatments, Laser Genesis by Cutera is used to treat many conditions, including Rosacea, redness, enlarged pores, acne, scars, melasma, and sun-damaged skin. This treatment is extremely popular with patients of all ages because there is no downtime or pain. With few exceptions, a patient can schedule a Laser Genesis for 4pm and see friends for dinner at 6pm with smooth, glowing skin.

Intense Pulsed Light

Intense Pulsed Light (IPL) has become synonymous with the removal of brown spots and sun damage from the skin. IPL refers to any light-based system that uses filtered light to a treat a condition on the skin. Most IPL systems are designed to treat the most common signs of sun-damage: brown spots, redness, and texture that is dry and rough. These treatments are also known as “Photofacials.” At Forever Young Laser & Skin Center, we use Viora V30.

Laser Hair Removal

Laser hair removal (LHR) or permanent hair reduction works to stop hair growth in a desired area and eliminate or minimize waxing, shaving, or bleaching unwanted hair. LHR is a series of treatments and works best on dark, thick hair like that on the leg. LHR generally requires 4-6 treatments to achieve best results. There is no pain, only a tingling or snapping sensation.

Vein Therapies & Rosacea

Over time, some vessels on the face become enlarged and visible. This can be caused by age, sun-exposure, pregnancy, trauma, and Rosacea. Generally, these unsightly veins are not dangerous, unless they are varicosities that protrude or are accompanied by swelling or pain.

Laser treatments are used to treat smaller spider veins, especially on your face and the upper body. Red spider veins, also called telangiectasias, respond extremely well to laser treatments like Cutera’s Nd:YAG. This treatment can be done alone or often is used in conjunction with sclerotherapy to treat vessels of different sizes. Lasers have also been used to treat diffuse redness or Rosacea successfully.

Exilis

The Exilis is one of our most popular treatments. Using radio frequency (RF) to tighten skin, reduce fat, and contour the body, Exilis offers a revolutionary non-invasive form of treatment.
